Guest Genesys Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Hi, Do you have this problem? I just can't download anything which is bigger than 25 mb on the Android Market.
Guest bearded1 Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Silly question maybe but how much space do you have on your internal and external storage?
Guest Genesys Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 Hi, I have 4.5 GB on internal and 4.7 GB on external.
Guest Genesys Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Anyone? Try install Pocket Legends from the market with a Galaxy S.
Guest endursa Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Anyone? Try install Pocket Legends from the market with a Galaxy S. the new market uses /cache partition to store downloads, so if your cache is full you can't dl large files anymore! try to clean up the cache
Guest Genesys Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 I did format the cache, but I still can't download Pocket Legends. Help? /cache is empty.

Guest Nimrod_Axl Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 I did format the cache, but I still can't download Pocket Legends. Help? /cache is empty. if your using a lagfix which changed the fs of the /cache partition to ext4, thats probably the cause of your problem, you can fix this changing the /cache partition back to rfs, or install hardcore's kernel, from xda-developers, but before you do that, you should remove the lagfix you installed. try this link and i suggest you read the topic. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=822756 , im currently use his k12Q begmem version, its stable, and fast. you might not need the lagfix after you install this kernel, but you have to be in Froyo firmware. hope this helps.
Guest dawabz94 Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 no need to format anything /cache is limited to 30Mo on SGS, which was the previous android application limitation now android allows 50Mo application size market downloads the apk 1st in /cache partition then installs it into the system pocket legend is a big one, recently, was above 30Mo sent them some mails and they were nice enough to reduce the size below 30Mo. my latest update went fine in short, do : adb shell , su , cd /cache , rm *apk then install your app if still fails, there are chances the app is above 30Mo hope this helps ...
