Fix broken Acer framework (market ratings)?

Hi all,

I keep reading that the ratings in market don't show up in acer-based ROM's because of their crappy framework.

However, I don't know if it can be fixed or not.

So my question is: Does anyone on this forum have the knowledge to fix it, and if not why isn't it possible?
