Guest Richard_Arkless Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 (edited) Welcome, bit of advice considering I have a custom cm rom as well is you better not include the google apps by default as they are a grey matter Edited January 21, 2011 by Richard_Arkless

Guest eckengucker1 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 which kernel? I would rly appreciate some more informations ..
Guest twrock Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) which kernel? I would rly appreciate some more informations .. I'd like to know that too. But even a bigger problem for me is that I have attempted to download this file at least 10 times over the last 16 hours, and it never makes it. The furthest I've gotten is 48mb (of 70). Anyone who successfully downloaded it willing mirror it? Ok, I finally got it. I kept pausing the download manually and restarting it every 10 or so mb and it finally got all the way through. I'm looking at the parts of the rom I can understand at the moment to see how things are set up. For _elvis (the OP), I already see that some of the errors we've discovered in build.prop have not been corrected in your rom yet. I suggest you have a look at that again. Look for duplicate entries and the line that should look like this: rild.libargs=-d /dev/smd0 It is supposed to be one line only. Additionally, things seem to work better in the Market if some of the "names" in the top section are changed back to the T-Mobile Pulse originals. Compare your build.prop to the one in the latest AIO rom if you want to see the details. Enough on build.prop. I'm off to look at the /system/apps, etc. Edit: Ok, I had a further look and even installed it to see what happened. My take on v2 of this rom? If you are happy with the look, and you want "some" gapps installed without having to do it separately, and you don't want an OC kernel or DT Apps2SD, and you don't mind that the apps that are supposed to be pre-installed into /data don't install correctly (looks like a script problem here), and you don't want any of the numerous minor corrections the community has already discovered and fixed in Tom's CM v4, then this might just work well for you. Edited January 23, 2011 by twrock

Guest darkdevil1 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 Is the 2.3 launcher faster (or at least less memory usage) than say, Zeam launcher?
Guest jeddy1 Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 I will try to accommodate your comments in the next version  I must say its nice many people try to keep the pulse alive but I don't understand how can you get a rom which is builded from tom and performaned and fixed few problems from others and tom and you just change theme and maybe few small things and you share it with your name? I am just asking so we just know, nothing more I don't blame;-).
Guest Richard_Arkless Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) Is the 2.3 launcher faster (or at least less memory usage) than say, Zeam launcher? From what I see of 2.3 launcher it runs decently but not as well as zeam launcher and the options that I get with zeam launcher is a deal breaker I must say its nice many people try to keep the pulse alive but I don't understand how can you get a rom which is builded from tom and performaned and fixed few problems from others and tom and you just change theme and maybe few small things and you share it with your name? I am just asking so we just know, nothing more I don't blame;-). I agree this shouldnt be a new rom all together, just an addon where the user installs this on top of toms rom because to be honest not much has changed but I guess its way too early and it will be interesting to see how far this goes Also elvis please follow my advice I posted earlier about the fact that you shouldnt include the gapps by default Edited January 24, 2011 by Richard_Arkless
