Guest admanirv Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Hi guys, Does anyone have a problem with setcpu and start up's of the phone? I have my cpu set to 710mhz 'ondemand' and also down to 245mhz when the screen is off. I have the setcpu widget and notice it doesnt pick up overclock settings?, i go into the setcpu and it crashes - it doesnt do this all the time. I force it closed and re-open and it works fine. I have granted it superuser admissions too. Any ideas? Thanks

Guest leetron1 Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Had constant crashes setCPU on JJ RLS7..went over to Overclock Widget..seems better though not as many settings to play with...using 692MHz as ceiling to preserve battery>>

Works the first time then justbcrashes o a black screen & I have to uninstall.
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 i think 710 mhz is too high for your device choose 672
Guest oh!dougal Posted January 27, 2011 Report Posted January 27, 2011 (edited) You need to make a setcpu.txt on your sdcard and put the custom clock settings in there. You will need to ask kk for the cpu frequences. I think Android System Info (free app) lists all the possible (physically settable, not necessarily stable) frequencies. System Tab, CPU section.
