Guest superbrundlefly Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 Hi, I updated to the official 2.1 rom yesterday and I'd like to revert back my original rom which I backed up on my SD card (2.1 seems very unstable, can't receive texts as memory is full etc...) however when I put my device into boot loader mode it no longer shows up, i.e. if I run adb devices I get "List of devices attached" with an empty list. I've tried this on 2 Linux machines and a Windows machine with the same result. On Linux I can tell that the USB is working because if I run lsusb I can see a device with the name Google Inc. This means if I run ./install-superboot-linux.sh it says < waiting for device > and just hangs. So as far as I can tell, this means I can't boot into recovery mode to restore my old rom, or root the phone or do anything other than run with the 2,1 rom it seems... Can anyone help? Is there any other way of restoring my old rom?? Thanks
