Guest madnav Posted January 23, 2011 Report Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) One of my friends has a blade whose power button/switch is kind of screwed. It does not work almost of the times and needs to be replaced. Sending for replacement is not possible. Is the switch standard and replaceable by end user(assuming he can open and solder)? If so, where can i acquire one. 2ndly, is there any way to incorporate any key wake up from sleep method? I have tried widget locker which allows the same, but it does not seem to work with latest releases of JapJelly. I want any key 'wake-up' from sleep so that he doesn't have to use the power button for anything apart from booting. PS: No, it does not unlock even on Wednesday, have tried it already before searching. Edited January 23, 2011 by madnav
Guest meinnit Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 You can get an app that will force the phone to stay awake. This will enable Menu to wake however because the phone isn't sleeping it will have a siginificant effect on battery life. Anyone recommend a free app that will keep the phone awake?
Guest Rotmann Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) Maybe NoLED? Some people reported that it kept the SanFran alive. To make the phone sleep get Button Savior from the market, it has software buttons on the screen, switch off works only on 2.2. If the phone will not go to sleep it will foock up your battery, you know. Edited January 24, 2011 by Rotmann

Not sleeping will simply cause the battery to drain faster but it should last a day if you don't use the phone much.
Guest marcel_miller Posted September 26, 2011 Report Posted September 26, 2011 just figured out how i am using 2 programs one is nolock and seccond is Widget Locker. nolock wakes up the phone with any key and by default unlocks the phone BUT if you have Widget Locker installed it prevents from unlocking so that way you have your phone with any-button wake and still locked, tested with my LG 2x ,first app is lightweight and dont consume much battery.. i dont know if i made my self clear im italian email me if you want the link or any question [email protected]
