As I have found many useful apps in these forums for use on my Vega, I thought it would be good for everyone to easily share what apps they have installed using AppBrain.

Here is how to do it:

- Visit www.appbrain.com and register with your Google account

- Donwload the AppBrain app on your Vega (search for AppBrain in the Market)

- Start AppBrain on the Vega, go to 'Manange My Apps' > 'Sync with AppBrain'

- Now, the AppBrain website will show all your installed apps by clicking 'My Apps' at the top

- On the right, make sure your list is set to Public and then copy the 'Copy and Paste link'

Then reply to this post with your app's list, if you like you can make a special mention of any really useful or favourite apps from your list. It may be good to list any sideloaded apps installed from outside the Market if you think others may find them useful.

Top 3 recommendations:

Smart Taskbar (sidebar) - I found out about Button Saviour on these forums and most people swear by it, however, I prefer this app from the same developer, give it a try!

DroidWall - Android Firewall - Does exactly what it says on the tin. For the security concious or paranoid amongst you!

Lithium Music Player - My favourite music player for Android, looks very nice on the Vega, has a unique animated UI and it is the only player to have crossfading and gapless playback

Sideloaded - Special Mention:

Backlight Killer - Thanks to ptbw and andycap on these forums, there is now a nice little app to disable the backlight on the Vega so you can save battery whilst copying or downloading, streaming music etc.. Check it out:

Don't forget to synchronise with AppBrain regularly to keep your lists up-to-date!
