Is your phone rooted? If so, use system explorer and edit the build prop. Where it says App Oriantation Landscape =1. Change the 1 to 0. Good to go.

Don't seem to work on my streak, with dj steve 1.6.0.

I edited the build.prop as indicated, reboot, but lockscreen is always in landscape mode..

I also tried uninstalling widget-locker, tried with all the combination of screen orientation, but my losckscreen still in landscape mode.

I use adw launcher

does this tip works for someone?

:)

[EDIT] Sorry.. I had confused home-screen and lock-screen :)

Its not your lock screen. Its just for the home screen.

home screen portrait thing can be done with ADW ,it's a better launcher, but how to universally stay in portrait for every app untill i manually toggle to landscape ?
