Separate display timeout and lockout timeout

Hi,

As my company considers calendar and emails confidential materials, we have a policy that we need to protect our phones with an 8 digit alphanumeric password. The policy also states the timeout for that to be 30min, meaning that I only have to enter the password if the phone is not used for more than 30min.

However, if I set the display timeout on my blade to 30min, it still asks for the password when I turn off the display manually via the ON/OFF button. But of course, I don't want to put the phone in my pocket without turning off the display...

I would rather like to see a behavior that when the display is turned off manually and activated within 30min again, I only have to do the standard swipe to unlock the device without entering the pass phrase.

Is there a way to do that on my San Francisco with the current MoDaCo Froyo ROM?
