Howto configure the keyboard used for unlocking the phone

Hi,

Because of confidential material stored on my phone I am requested to have an 8 digit alphanumeric passphrase to unlock the phone/display. Although I have installed some alternative keyboards, it always provides me the standard (in my case the gingerbred keyboard) to enter the passphrase. Is there a way to configure which keyboard to use for that?

My ROM: current MoDaCo Froyo ROM (r9)

did that! Unfortunately, that only defines the keyboard for that kind of text fields - NOT for the passphrase function :-(

Actually, I am using a different keyboard for all my text fields, but I am still only presented the standard keyboard to enter my passphrase, and pressing the passphrase input field does not bring up any context menu!
