the only "catch" i see is that it will be horribly slow(class 2 32GB, might have problems with HD movies)

to move your files? just copy/paste them over with 1 microSD in a reader and 1 microSD in the card-slot.

although it's not really needed if you don't move apps to SD, because android or the apps you have installed will make the files again.

Sounds good, I'm only going to be using it for music so that suits me.

Thanks chief

It is cheap! Definitly not sandisk. I bought a 16GB from play.com 4 speed for £15 and the first one sent was slower than 2 speed, the second was good. I would not buy it as it's definitly not genuine and you will most likely have problems with it. The second question; what I did when I bought mine was show hidden files on the card, copied all to a folder on the pc. format the new card and copy it all to the new card then you can hide files again if you wish.

i wouldn't buy it, it's probably just another fake card

don't buy it! most of these cards are usually hacked to show 32gb and don't actually have that capacity!

ebay is awash with fake 32gb micro SD cards, don't even think about buying any of them.

Interestingly the seller has 117 positive feedbacks, no negative, and not one of the feedback givers have got any feedback themselves.

Disappointed because I don't want to pay £60 for a bit of memory (especially when you can get a 500GB hard drive for £45) :-(

That definitely is too good to be true, and as pointed out by bennji_boy all the feedback is by new ebay folk - no way would I touch such a phoney seller.

I did buy a 32Gb card from China - seller had 5000-odd feedback, 99. whatever positive, £25. The card capacity is not an issue - happily copied 27Gb of files onto it, about Class 4 speed. However, when I removed the card from my PC and re-insert it, it drops bits. Busy going through ebay arbitration and expect to get my cash back from PayPal - in the meantime the seller has no items for sale and the last 50-odd feedbacks are all negative. Seems the account got hacked! Also seems there are plenty of cards out there that probably failed the factory QC procedures, except Caveat emptor

just get a USB hard-drive then.

nothing stopping you from using usb hard-drives on a vega now that there's a host/slave switcher.

16Gb is more than enough really for music and a few videos you can stream everything else. Having a Vega has prompted me to finally properly set up my PC for real remote access. I've got a bunch of programs with webUI that all I need to do is connect to my PC with my dyndns adress to use and teamviewer to remote in. Add in gmote for streaming on the local network its perfect. So far I've used only half of my storage on the SD card.

Sorry to re-kindle this thread but check this out.

Im due to upgrade this ridiculously small micro-sd card that came with the vega.

Ive already bought into a 16Gb Sandisk Class 4 card for my desire and its working a treat!

Anyway, check this company out. 16Gb, Class 6! 5 Year Warranty!!! And same price as a sandisk class 4......

Seem quite solid company, just wondering if its worth going for a self branded card thats better speed rated rather than a name for the same price.

I've bought from them before and seem OK to deal with. Another alternative is 7 Day Shop - MicroSD Whilst they have no 16Gb Class 6, you can get some decent branded cards at good prices (16Gb Class4 Sandisk @ £15.99 delivered)

Personally (and having suffered from fake cards), I'll only buy branded from a reputable dealer. As Class 4 allows for (max) 32MB/s throughput and that allows me to play HD content, that is as fast as I'll ever need - I think that I would only need a Class6 or higher is using to write / store large media files e.g. high resolution pictures or HD video.

I can hardly take a big hard drive to the bog with me, can I?

Try also Mymemory running their own brand 16 gb class 4 card and it works fine - cost me £15.99. Only prob is their more popular items can sometimes be out of stock...
