Can anyone recommend a car holder for the Desire Z, my current one wont allow me to charge it due where the charging socket is.

not many peope on here have this phone even though i love it to bits :(

I have found a cheap vent mounted holder that is adjustable enough for the various buttons/socket etc on the Desire Z.

Cost me £4 from an amazon seller "Duragadget Car Swival Air vent mount holder cradle for HTC DESIRE Z"

Its not 'wow amazing' but it does the job.

Their service was good even though at the first attempt they sent me a leather ipad case - all resolved quickly and easily though.

I can highly recommend the Brodit holder for this device. Excellent quality, slide on and it connects to the power supply.

Shop around and you can get it for £33-£35.

I found a standard mobile phone holder with suction mount and a "swan neck" bendable arm. I turned it on its side and it works well, although it does cover the volume controls a bit.

I also have the DZ set to stay on when power is applied, which stops it locking the screen when I connect up the in-car charger. The display still dims after a while which is ideal at night.
