Theming the 2.1 de-oranginated rom?

Hello chaps.

Looked around and for the time being I have decided to go for the 2.1 (de-originated) rom.

One thing that's bugging me though, is the, well, orange - bars, input boxes, etc.

Are there any themes, or could anyone point me in the direction of how to theme, for this ROM?

I've seen some of the other awesome themes for the other customs, but can't find anything about this one...

(All I want to do is change it, without installing any more background apps, if possible, to a blue, green, or grey.)

It's a good reason to change to one of the better 2.2 ROMs, you won't regret it.

I can't figure it out. I installed "revo-theme" or somesuch as it had the colors I wanted, but the new notification bar is not for me.

I just don't understand the de/re-compiling of framework-res.apk - the tools don't seem to like me. Editing the code once I can get to it shouldn't cause me an issue if it's just hex etc.
