To whom may help to fix my semi-bricked A1:

I have used my A1 for around an year. It's a very nice phone, with many upgrade roms on internet (like LCR & MIUI)

However, last, I upgraded to 4.005.04 Liquid Ferriari rom (2.2). Rooted with malez recovery 0.6 for Ferrari edition.

But, I got stucked after I upgrade boot.img (from acer-liquid-froyo, 880Mhz with ramzswap). I even cannot get into recovery mode.

I have nandroid backup. (Nandroid backup (compressed))

the boot.img in the backup is not usable, fail with message:

remote: flash write failure

and the boot.img is relatively large, after extract from boot.img.gz

size is 524,288 bytes (compared with other boot.img)

Please help, is anyone can help to bring this phone back to work...

Thank you very much.

That boot.img from acer-liquid-froyo is very old and I believe is compatible with Eclair bins only.

If you can get back into recovery, re-flash the bin, re-install recovery and flash a ROM which is designed for Froyo bins (ie. LCR or LiquidMetal or Cyanogenmod by Roggin, etc).

Have you tried any of the button combos?

Recovery? Fastboot?

Noted, with thanks.

However, I can only get into fastboot. I think I can get it to live, if I have the boot.img of Ferrari Edition (Froyo, 4.0005.04).

Am I correct?

Hmm don't know where to find that.

Can the Acer Tool recognize the phone in Fastboot?

If so, maybe re-flash the .bin.

Thank you, you all.

I finally get the Acer Download Tool connected with this bricked phone.

Press Camera + Vol up + Power (without connect with USB), there is 2 Vibration feedback.

Screen is black, but it can connect to download tool like in recovery mode, if you connect with USB cable.

So nice, it's back to work again.
