Send texts but can't recieve

Hi,

My GF's San Fran (Running Sebs De-orange R7, Havent had time to go R8 yet) suddenly stopped receiving all texts last night, she can still send them, and make phone calls, just cannot receive them. Also the stock SD Card seems to have died too, phone constantly says its been removed, even though its there, works with another SD Card, and have ordered an 8gb.

Using ChompSMS, she said some apps updated last night, she also installed and uninstalled PingChat, and now no texts are received, tried using the stock app, telling it to autoretrieve, rebooted, no dice. 3G works, sending texts and calling work, so I don't think its a network problem.

Any idea? Gonna upgrade to R8, will take me an evening to get back to how I like it which is annoying, but I need this to work again :/

Since you already want to upgrade, make the bigger wiser step and upgrade to 2.2, it's worth it.

I don't feel that any 2.2's are quite ready yet, all based on beta's etc, and I like Seb's work, he makes good roms.

Its got nothing to do with the ROM I'm sure of it, as the SD card has died I need to reinstall clockwork :/

I'm using Seb's froyo with the new kernel and the fixes, no problems. It is so stable that I have installed it immediately on my wife's SanFran too.

Deleted and reinstalled ChompSMS, gave phone back as she needs it to make calls, and seems to work now, must have been chomp

I suddenly can't receive text messages. I wiped data and cache and installed fresh FLB r10b but it didn't fix it. What can I do?

I have the same problem however mine only happens after my phone reboots randomly on its own. I have switch the phone off and on again and then I can receive texts (until it reboots on its own again).
