Guest Paul Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 This is the Vega 1.08 update packaged for ClockworkMod (if you feel the need to update but don't want to wipe). This is completely stock aside from being rooted - i'd advise waiting for MCR r7 for the good stuff. :lol:1.08 - DOWNLOAD (Mediafire Pro) - MD5: 67b9154f5a3fcdccf466798646fe147eP
Guest Lennyuk Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 any idea when you will get around to MR7, I have Friday off work this week (hint hint)
Guest Paul Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Working on it at the moment. P
Guest Bazabaza Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 that's strange...so do I - have Friday off that is......
Guest olionair Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 will r7 be able to be flashed through clockwork (that would be better)
Guest Paul Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 r7 may well be *ONLY* Clockwork (if we can get Clockwork 100% reliable). P
Guest Paul Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Incidentally, the current updates (e.g. r6) also work via ClockworkMod? P
Guest Lennyuk Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 r7 may well be *ONLY* Clockwork (if we can get Clockwork 100% reliable). P Straying into the remit of the other topic I know, but a full rom release is the way to go I think. I have personally not had any issues with clockwork yet (touch wood) but I know plenty of others have. I don't remember getting any error when flashing my recovery, maybe people should start md5'ing the image before flashing?

I had a flash error and BSOD's with 1.06 and clockworkmod 2.5.1.3 - all md5sums had checked out. The latest recovery and the stock 1.08 have been booting and rebooting for me OK (so far
Guest Pyr0x64 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 when i tried flashing r6 with clockworkmod, i had no root access
Guest thedicemaster Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 r7 may well be *ONLY* Clockwork (if we can get Clockwork 100% reliable). P i'd rather have it the old way. after 2 wipes in 1 month because of being stuck on a black screen i'm not looking forward to having to reinstall CWM
Guest Paul Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Unfortunately, there's some stuff you just *can't do* the script way... P
Guest deadite66 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) just tried flashing r6, got a blank screen. unzipped the 1.08 update and replaced recovery.img with the clockwork version then flashed it. EDIT. flashed the non pp version via clockwork and it runs fine. Edited January 24, 2011 by deadite66
Guest MonkeyBoy451 Posted January 24, 2011 Report Posted January 24, 2011 Have flashed the 1.08 update via the new CWM 2.5.1.8 and all appears to be working as expected. There's a few apps icons left over from my original r6 MCR+PP such as the market, but that doesnt work as expected. Performance wise, 1.08 seems to be on a part with the previous 1.0.6.5+r6 MCR+PP
