Don't worry - keep trying the key combos to try and get it back into recovery mode. If you give up and send it back all they will do is to get it into recovery and re-flash back to factory fresh - so they will never check whats already on it.

just hold the power button for 6 sec, then it's completely off. then you can start it up again.

happens to me to.

hold power down for at least 10 seconds, then hold back for 1 sec, then power for 1 sec release power after 1 sec, then release back, it should be in recover mode, it would seem that some of the vega's need 2 sec, and some only need 1 sec to detect it needs to be in recover mode. pain in the butt, just remember you can't brick the beast

Did you try BSODFixer, as I describe in my tutorial: Your tablet is no longer booting and you have no nandroid backup.

To get into NVidia Flash recovery try the following:

Hold your power button for 1 minute, sometimes the Vega seems not to shut down properly.

Then after releasing power button go thru this sequence:

Connect your tablet to your PC and plug in your power supply.

Press and hold back button (until the end of this sequence)

Press the power button for 2 seconds (your screen backlight might go on and you might hear a sound from your PC that a USB device connected)

Wait for another 2 seconds, then release the back button.

Your tablet screen is black and there is no text or picture on it. Now try to either repair your tablet with BSODFixer or flash a stock ROM (or my Gambaro V02.NV).
