adobe just launched an update for flash, and it seems to be working better than the apk included in mcr6.

i no longer have that videos freeze when streaming through certain flash video players.

no more hunting for leaked/ripped flash apk's

I can't find it. i need it on my Hero, but it's not showing up in the search.

*EDIT* Must be device specific, shows up fine on the Vega.

flash is android 2.2 and ARM 7 or TEGRA 2 only

The hero is technically only android 2.1 and only is ARM 6

I didn't. I just installed it from the market and it appears to work fine.

Mine updated itself automatically so presumably if you have 'auto update' set on your app library you won't have to install it yourself

Afternoon All. Just checked the Flash player 10.1 info on market place and it states Should not be installed on Tegra 2 super chip machines...like the Dell streak 7 etc

not sure if ours is the Tegra 2 super chip or just Tegra 2.(not sure if they mean the same chip set)

Plus my flash version seems newer that the one on market (found somewhere on this forum) v 10.1.120.1

Flash in the market did say this, however with the latest update the line about Tegra was removed (and on installation flash still works),

I have not done an enormous amount of testing but as far as I can tell the new flash is the same quality if not better than advents one, and it also loads quicker and is more responsive to touch.

Edit: I see what you mean now, they added the change log a few days after the update came out.

Installed this morning. It has solved issued I had with certain flash players (eg 4OD) but I suffered a few browser crashes (immediate shut down rather than hang then forced close) using dolphin HD. Will reboot and see if it persists.

Interesting variations - I installed from the linky above but can't access 4OD properly. Not sure if it worked before but it's not working now.
