Guest Graham1 Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 (edited) Hi Can anyone recommend a good app for copying/pasting a password from a text file which can then be pasted into password section in wireless settings? Having to enter a 63 alpha-numeric password (different case) to connect can take a while. Edited January 25, 2011 by Graham1
Guest Rotmann Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Why don't you use the normal copy paste from the text program? Or use some of the alternatives here.
Guest Graham1 Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 (edited) Hi Unfortunately, I was unable to use anything that was installed by default. The few apps that I tried, allowed me to copy data to the clipboard but I was unable to paste anything into the wireless settings. Another option (possibly) would be to maybe open the configuration file that stores the password and paste using the same text editor (switching between open files). Why don't you use the normal copy paste from the text program? Guest English Haze Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 B-Folders! It's a great free app. on Android with a paid version for desktops that can store encrypted passwords and notes and sync/ them with a desktop database if you choose to buy the desktop version. But it works fine as a standalone secure password store on the phone. For the key fields such as url and password there's a copy button that copies the text to the clipboard ready for pasting into your input boxes.
