If You not have a "guarantee", you can download to the i900 any custom rom (mostly roms have disabled startup calibration) to solve (partly) this problem. Edited January 25, 2011 by masza2

(calibration is not completed, not finished) Try the HR (hard reset). If this not solve problem, You can flash any custom rom to your i900. This roms (mostly) not have a startup calibration. (If You understand Polish Lang: Jezeli rozumiesz po polsku: Jezeli telefon nie chce sie uruchomic z powodu zapetlonej kalibracji ekranu. Mozesz czesciowo rozwiazac problem wgrywajac jakikolwiek customROM, stworzony przez ktoregos kucharza. One w wiekszosci wersji nie posiadaja wstepnej kalibracji ekranu, umozliwi Ci to uruchomienie i korzystanie z telefonu. Tylko najpierw zapoznaj sie z FAQ. I change 2 digitizer of my i900 in 3 years os use!!! ;)

I change 2 digitizer of my i900 in 3 years os use!!! :D i changed one last year and it was only due to scratches but its not too expensive £10 pounds or so and 30 mins of careful work
