Guest Thor_se Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 Hi I really need some help here... I have a Blade that my son has installed some apps on, now i can't access the phone... ... it starts up ok, then the unlock-screen, but after i unlock it there is no icons !! I can see (and pull down) the top bar - but the rest is black, i can't access any menus. There is probably some app that my son installed that screws things up, he don't remember the name of the app - but he think it was some kind of screensaver/lock and something with finger-print ... i have no idea. Anyway, is there any way i can fix this ? I have googled a bit and tried to find some way to enter Android in "safe-mode" to be able to uninstall, but i can't find any way to do that on this phone. I have tried too hook it up with ADB - but since i can't enable USB-debug it stays "offline". I have started it in "FTM", but i have no idea what to do there. I have started it in boot-loader mode, but in that mode it doesn't show up in ADB at all. I would prefer to be able to remove some (all?) of the apps - but a complete reset would work too. (i have no things like clockwork installed on it) Anything i can do ? or do i have to send it for "repair" ? Best regards Thor
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted January 25, 2011 Report Posted January 25, 2011 you have to install clockworkmod with fastboot follow the excellent guide of stevenharper here guide enter in clockwork and do a factory reset / wipe data / wipe cache
