Is there something wrong with my battery, and 98% is considered as full or will it get to 100%, because I am wanting to do that battery calibration for it and it needs to fully charged to do that doesn't it?

All help appreciated thanks.

It just goes slower at the end. The battery gauge isn't very linear. Note that usb is also slower than mains.

What should I do then. Should I stop charging or keep it charging until full?

Oh and I am doing it from the mains as well.

I always charge to a 100 unless I run out of time. You'll have to charge to 100 if you're doing the battery thing.

Are you sure it will be okay for the battery to keep charging because I don't want it to get overused and since the first post it's still on 98%

Where are you reading that it's at 98%? Personally I would put it down to not being very accurate.

It shows it on the lock screen. IT has charged now and I am doing that battery recalibration technique now, but when I turn it off and charge it from mains the light notification is red . My notification has never gone green before, and Im pretty sure it should when green, so what is wrong there then.

What rom are you using? I think that affects the charging light colours.

Also, do you have an actual notification? A missed text or call? My missed texts change the notification led red.

And you can't overcharge the battery.
