Annoying Wallpaper Problem

Recommended Posts

I have updated to v1.08 with a slight variant of R6 and have a very annoying problem.

When I try to set the wallpaper one of four things happen (none of them the desired effect, i.e. acctually setting the wallpaper)

1) Black background

2) Very zoomed version of the default blue / white bubble wallpaper

3) Very zoomed version of the wallpaper I'm trying to set

4) Correctly sized version of the default blue / white bubble wallpaper

I've tried setting the wallpaper to the built in ones, setting it to a wallpaper chosen from the Gallery, setting it from within 'Browser'.

At no point have I acctually managed to get a correctly sized version of the wallpaper I select.

I'm using Launcher Pro Plus v0.8.3

Can anyone help?

In answer to my own question, switching back to the default launcher and clearing the defaults for the launcher now allows me to set a sensible size wallpaper.

Very curious.

In fact, this is not fixed at all.

The vega will randomly decide (regardless of Launcher Pro or the stock Launcher) to zoom the wallpaper.

It will also randomly decide whether to display the wallpaper i have selected or go back to the default one (which, by the way, i am going to delete as I hate it seeing the pixelated bubbles so much)

I've tried wallswitch to no avail... this doesn't do anything useful other than crash.

Anyone any more suggestions?

I'm getting the exact same thing but I can't offer any resolution other than what you already suggested. Clear the defaults for home screen, go to the stock launcher, set the wallpaper, go back to launcher pro. Gah, it's annoying.
