It does have a2sd, you just have to format your sd card accordingly before installing. I would recommend FLB 1.7

All FLB mods have A2SD enabled by default. You just need to partition your SD card correctly and it will start working straight away. As said earlier - the Ultimate guide is where you should go for how to do this.

No need to reinstall - it should move your apps the first time you boot after partitioning your SD card correctly (I use amon ra recovery) as I recall but it is a long time now since I did all this - mine has been on 1.6b for absolutely ages now.

Only minor updates from 1.6 to 1.7. Check the FLB Mod1 thread as fibble is very informative.

You will be able to check status of as2d after you have done the necessary partioning via the terminal emulator application:

su

a2sd check

You can also use this to move your dalvik cache to sd to free up some more space:

su (if not done already above)

a2sd cachesd

Why dont you read the guide?

The memory is filling up because of the cache. Move it to your sd card.

i know nothing of apps2sd and the like but after i install my custom rom on to my pulse mini - i can have as much apps as i want - the internal memory reads 76mb and thats with hundreds of apps - i tried the same thing with different roms and even the stock rom and it filled up real quick..so i was not sure if the apps2sd did it automatically i am not sure..

On custom ROMs like FLB Mod, A2SD works automatically as long as you have partitioned your SD card correctly.

Hi there

I am getting the same problem with internal memory filling and it's really frustrating. A2SD does not seem to work.

Under 'phone storage'

Total Space 90.25MB

Available space 12.73MB

(It has been as low as 9MB at times)

I am running Cyanogen Mod Plus (Froyo 2.2) On my pulse.

I have followed the Ultimate pulse guide and formatted / partitioned my 8Gb, Class 10 SD card as follows:

The EXT2 Partion is 512Mb size, with a swap of 32Mb (these values were recommended).

a2sd check yields the following:-

# a2sd check

So the above suggests that, although I'm installing apps on SD card, and Dalvik is running from SD, I'm still losing internal memory somewhere.

I also performed a 'df', in case it reveals anything else:-
