why is there no predictive text / dictionary entry built into vega keyboard?

I can not understand how my vega and phone use same version of android and keyboard but the phone has a ddictionary and predictive text built in but my vega only has words from my contacts list that come up in predictive options along the top of the keyboard.

Is it possible to load up a dictionary?

Are you sure you haven't just not enabled the option in settings. I don't use the stock myself(I use smartkeyboard pro) but I'm sure I remember an option to enable a dictionary.

Correct. Go to SETTINGS > LANGUAGE & KEYBOARD SETTINGS > ANDROID KEYBOARD > SHOW SUGGESTIONS seems to be what you are after :lol:
