Guest stanno Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 I have several Gmail accounts. Stupidly, when installing a new ROM, I must have used a different account from the one I bought apps from the Android Market with previously, so none of them are registered. Two questions: 1) Where can I find the email address of the account the phone is now registered to (NOT the password, just the email address)? 2) Is there any way I can get these licenses working again without a factory re-set or new ROM install? I've spent days customising everything and don't want to loose it all. BTW I'm on JJ8 and wouldn't mind upgrading to 9 anyway. Ta.
Guest catb Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) 1) Where can I find the email address of the account the phone is now registered to (NOT the password, just the email address)? Settings -> Accounts & Sync ? EDIT: I re-read your post, and realized that indeed you might have several GMail accounts configured at once, and question is, which one Market is using ... There is a chance is the first one in the list (the one you used to configure the phone) 2) Is there any way I can get these licenses working again without a factory re-set or new ROM install? Guest stanno Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 Settings -> Accounts & Sync ? That shows my 3 Gmail accounts but doesn't say which one's the phone's registered account - they're just listed alphabetically. Well, if you put the same account you bought the licenses with, it should work by my understanding. The problem is I don't think I can switch accounts (unless anyone knows different).
