i used the back side of a business card holder, good idea though and would work better cause i would have to remove my biz cards to use it

I got creative last night as well. Wanted something for by the bed at night.

Took about 20 minutes- Block of Ashe Juniper, a sawzall and a dremmel - then some mineral oil

guys seriously... with a device like the streak it truly deserves the dell dock station. it works so good and its awesome at night (it works as an alarm clock, music station, digital picture frame) I got lucky by picking one up from ebay at $40 bucks, the guy was selling 10 by the time i was going to post a topic about it he had sold them all, for some reason his account was closed....

....check ebay you might get lucky as well.

oooor, you can go to the dollar tree, pick up a business card holder, and put the streak on that. the streak isnt my brother mother father sister cousin that it deserves to be pampered. i already bught a 20 dollar otterbox to protect it, i dont WANT to spend another 40 on a dock. Im usually at work, where i use the streak to watch a movie here or there, or use the game emulators during downtime. I have no use for any of the features listed for the dock in those situations

I see no need for an over priced lump of plastic either, that's likely to sit redundant when the streak gets eventually replaced like the other devices docks/ stands/ chargers I've brought in the past. And at the momenti couldn't entertain the idea of throwing that kind of money at one.

Hdmi out doesn't interest me, so these nifty ideas appeal, both on that level and because, frankly because they exist...

There is no need to criticise some ones creativity because you don't want it, maybe some constructive criticism towards their methods maybe...

Think I'm going to have a play with some correx at some point to makea stand for my streak

Cardboard, meet scissors. I think I win the "cheapest and easiest to make Streak stand" contest.

thats it mate, kids today don't know the half of it! they are easily suckered into buying rubbish but turn their noses up at making use of things everyday folk leave behind...

I was wondering if the dock fit the streak with the extended mugen battery 4800 mah. It increase the thickness to double the current size but only at the backplate

I took 2 large binder clips and 3 rubber 'things' that I found in a drawer and once pieced together it made a great little stand

As soon as I can find a knife I'll open the lip of the middle rubber thingy so the cable can be attached while in the stand
