Guest yakima Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 Yesterday i updated my gt540 to 2.1, rooted it & installed apps2SD. Worked a treat and downloaded shedloads of stuff :-D. Today one of my games was slow in starting, so i switched the phone off and back on then every application kept popping up saying 'the application has stopped unexpectedly' and it had to force close. Now it's got to the point where it freezes on the android loading screen when i switch it on, Works ok without the sd card, but wheres the fun in that, lol. I've tried a hard reset, updating it to 2.1 again, Tried rooting it again, it still hangs on booting up... The last thing i can think of is formating my sd card and trying that again. I'm a complete noob at this just now so if you can give any advice, some clear instructions on how to do it would be appreciated, Thanks very much ;-)
Guest Joost v Hoek Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Do you have fastboot? If you have try this. Put battery, sim and sd out plug usb in back of computer and in phone start kdz updater and flash a rom with fastboot after flashing, pull your battery out and put in again push camara+power open cmd and type 'fastboot -w' boot phone flash rom you want to use If you don't have fastboot, download the sdk pakage from Android SDK Joost
