Guest ClippinWings Posted January 28, 2011 Report Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) at first i saw this and got excited... then I read the details Engadget > Android 3.0 Honeycomb emulator has traces of smartphone support Looks like as soon as you drop the resolution below WXGA, you lose all the Tablet UI Goodness it turns out that setting the emulator to WVGA (like you might find on a modern mid- to high-end smartphone) triggers a moderately different shell UI that lacks most of the whiz-bang home screen stuff Google's shown on the Honeycomb tablets. Guest Truenash Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Without serious modification, I can't see Honeycomb working on a 5 inch device. It's just made for much bigger stuff. Lionel@dell posted that it will be coming to Streak 7, so I asked him what about our Streak, no replies as of yet.
