Thanks in advance for the support and info ice
Guest Rotmann Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Use Titanium Backup or MyBackup next time to backup and restore your apps if you have to wipe when installing a new ROM.
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 rom come with apps have you pressed the central icon in the back of the screen ?
Guest icecreamy Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 Use Titanium Backup or MyBackup next time to backup and restore your apps if you have to wipe when installing a new ROM. Ive pushed on the wallpaper and get the widgets option and added all of those. I swear I had loads more apps before I did the unlocking and roming. Yes should have backed up but just followed the instructions here http://orangesanfrancisco.co.uk/android/ho...isco-zte-blade/ which doesnt mention backing up ;)
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted January 29, 2011 Report Posted January 29, 2011 form the site When installing a new ROM, you will loose any settings or apps on your phone. Any contacts on your phone should have automatically synced with Google Contacts. As soon as you log in to your Google Account on your new ROM, your contacts will automatically be downloaded, so there’s no need to worry about backing up your phone's contacts. Quick tip – you can view all your contacts through your PC by logging in at Google Contacts. for now just go in market app and download the apps you want when all is oki go in clockwork and make a backup

I use Titanium Backup Pro, as that can do automated batch restores of apps (useful if restoring more than 1 or 2), and scheduled backups. It is annoying about the widgets, - it would be 'nice' if the Launchers (I use ADW) at least saved the name of the widget. It takes me longer to remember what they were (Problem Loading Widget isn't especially helpful) than to recreate! Maybe need a scheduled home screen 'capture' utility.
