Command Prompt Error when running R3 Superboot for ZTE Blade

Recommended Posts

I am trying to root my ZTE Blade as per the following link:

http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...boot-root-mcri/

I am trying to run:

boot.blade.superboot.mcri.r3.img

in the command prompt.

I'm at the directory containing the new files.

The command prompt gives the following error message:

error: cannot load 'boot.blade.superboot.mcri.r3.img'

What do I need to do?

Many thanks,

N

use this guide

it explains it easier:

http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-the-zte-blade/

if you have windows

you need to type 'fastboot-windows flash recovery boot.blade.superboot.mcri.r3.img'

Many thanks for this. Its going to take me awhile to work through it, but from what I have read, it is very clear and an excellent tutorial.

You are welcomeq

Don't worry it is very easy

I think I'm understanding this correctly. I've been trying to use an older method and have only through the help of people on Modaco found out about clockworkmod, its early days. ;)
