Problems with home screen after rooting.

Hi,

Rooted my wife's blade with z4root to get rid of most of the orange stuff, worked perfect. Its the white model with none oled screen.

Prior to doing this Launcher Pro ran perfectly as did home switcher.

Anyway.... whenever the phone is booted up the default orange screen requests that it be selected. If you select home switcher it force closes. Tried reinstalling it and same problem. The phone always defaults to orange home screen.

Question. when removing orange stuff i left orange home screen and selector in place. If i delete these will i be left with a blank screen on boot or will the phone default to Launcher Pro ? don't want to bugger it up so any advice would be more than welcome.

I wouldn't bother and install directly a 2.2 ROM, it gives the phone so much value and it only takes 5 minutes with the brilliant Blade Recovery Manager. Follow the guide in the stickies.

Yep agree with this totally!

2.2 seems to be allot more stable/smoother on my phone, I could never go back to 2.1 ;)
