<Self-solved> USB not getting detected, but before this is detects

I'm on T&L ROM now and my computer detects my phone when it's connected via USB.

Then my computer's motherboard got fried and I had to format my computer to get it up and running again.

Now, my phone isn't detected on Windows 7 Ultimate and also on another laptop

USB mode in recovery does nothing

Wiped SD card, just nothing

The phone got no notification

EDIT : Apparently it's the cable that matters. Oh boy, there goes my time.
