hi

i brought the wife a vega without the flash support once i got it i install the MoDaCo Custom ROM ( i think it called ) from the stickt above by paul.

it seems i have dont it correct as i can browse you tube and that without any issues so i take it the flash is installed correct.

but my problem is the wife cant play her games on facebook via the touchscreen is this standard? i believe she should be able to play these games via the touch screen so if anyone can give me any help in why they dont play that would be great thanks.

I think it depends on the game... Sock Dye works fine for me... but Bouncing Balls does not (it always points to the left hand side and cannot shift the aim)... Farm Town loads... but when trying to use it, I got dumped to the home page

...so a mixed bag I think ;)

Games like farm town, farmville, cityville (all the Zynga games) are a no go - they are too cpu intensive. My dual core netbook overclocked to 1.85ghz, doesn't even play them smoothly. Simpler games work ok.

I've tried Zoo World, the performance is not top but you can do a few clicks. The bigger problem is, that the layer depth is handled incorrectly sometimes. (Like a dialog is getting pushed to the background, this issue is also mentioned in the Flashplayer release notes) An ugly workaround, if you do a pinch zoom, the hidden windows gets visible for a fraction of sec, if you are fast enough you can click on the button ;) Of course it is far from optimal, but it is possible to execute most of the functions.
