[Q] key presses when Camera is opened

I've just been wondering, what's up with the Camera/Camcorder on the liquid? Whenever i open it, i get random touches on the keys at the bottom. This results in the app exiting out, for example, when the random touches are on the Back or Home keys. if it's the Search key, nothing happens and it just vibrates. If it's the Menu key, the menu pops up.

When holding down the camera button from the home screen (to open the camera app), it doesn't vibrate once like I'm pretty sure it's supposed to. It vibrates once, and then at least 8 times in extremely rapid succession. (not always exactly say, "8". sometimes it's more, usually it's around what i'd guess to be 12-15 vibrations within one or two seconds)

I'm currently running roggin's cm7 with the updated boot.img, but it's not really a rom problem since it's been on every rom i've ever tried.

I don't get random touches on the screen (like when the sensitivity is too high).

This happens on stock rom (4.00.3.14, 4.002.14) also. Does anyone know what's going on? Is this affecting anyone else? If so, is anyone looking into it?
