Android System always using 10-15% CPU

Is there any way I can delve deeper into the processes to see which one is causing the usage? Task manager simply lumps a few system level processes under the one category.

Is there a fix? I'm running FLB r6 but I believe this usage is present on all the roms.

I bought the app SystemPanel for exactly that sort of info. Very useful. I cant remember what detail the free version of the app gives you, but might be worth a look.

Background apps are usually limited by the system to max 10%.

I found some live wallpapers use approx 10% CPU.

go into terminal and run 'top' or 'ps'.

I did try top but it kept scrolling so i could never actually see the 'top' process.

To get it to do only one iteration, allowing you to scroll back and check.
