Guest Sebastian404 Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 I've not really look at this yet.. but noticed you replaced the kernel.... is that because the one it came with did not work? I noticed the OP has it that it was from a V880... interesting if so...

Guest Sebastian404 Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 What is OP? ;) To be quite honest from previous experience with rom dumps. The kernel would never boot. OP = Original Poster I found an Ebay auction for this device, they list it as a V880 too.... I'm just surprised that they did a 2.1 build for a V880 device...

Guest Sebastian404 Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) I'll shut up and let other people give you some feedback, but I've made a recovery image, and the stock kernel boots on my Blade, and the RIL seems to work fine, to I needed to replace the APN config to get 3g going.... I guess its NOT a v880 Bust still, its nice to see a different boot animation ;) And you have to LOVE a company that bundles a game called 'hottie puzzle' with a device ;) Edited February 1, 2011 by Sebastian404
