TFT touchscreen stopped working

White SF with TFT, been working fine since Christmas, unlocked, rooted and running the custom Bladevillian rom. Hasn't been dropped or had any new widgets or apps installed - just seems to have stopped responding completely to finger touches. Battery half charged, now taking battery out for a couple of hours and will fully charge overnight.

Anyone seen a similar issue? done a search but only found 1 similar case but don't know how/if it was resolved.

ive got the same problem here, phone worked fine for about 1 week, was lying at my table, and stopped working to.

just to report i had 3 blades. the first is totally dead now. bad digitiser and bad flash ram.

the second has intermittent digitiser freezes.

the third i gave to my mum and was working fine until yesterday when she called to tell me it froze. she had to remove the battery which was harder than expected as she had superglued the cover on due to the problem with the cover not fitting properly. ;)

since the phones were bought at similar times, it could be that switzerland got several bad batches. in the end i bought a desire z to have a reliable phone to use but would like to get my blades fixed so that i can develop on them reliably.

I have a OLED that I bought in November that intermittently has touch screen problems - it either doesn't respond or the touch logs a different part of the screen. Have tried the JJ ROM's and gone back to 2.1 - the phone still has problems with both, but it is slightly better with 2.1. Am toying with sending it back to Orange, but want to rule out a firmware issue for sure.

perhaps you could try to install a rom with the tpt method
