Hi all,

I want to install a custom ROM on my Orange San Francisco and as a first step I have to install Astro File Manager:

http://www.appbrain.com/app/astro-file-man...om.metago.astro

My question: how can I install it ? I didn't see a way to copy it directly to my sd card. Orange App Market doesn't work (unlocked, using o2 provider in germany)

and I didn't see any other App Market Application on the phone.

Thank you for help !

Sure, but do you see a direct link to the app file (on the appbrain.com website) ?

Thank you !

I see there is a "Android Market" App installed, with my google account it worked too.

Hmm, now I have the problem that I can't see the files with Astro.

I copied the files to the USB Drive Ubuntu mounted. Content:

AlexApps

Android

DCIM

LOST.DIR

z7logs

But I can't find the files on the phone ? /sdcard is empty in Astro...

you have to disable the usb mount ;)

Hmm, really strange... I unmounted the device, pluged-in the usb cable again and now I can see the files.
