hi all, excuse the rant

i have spent most of the morning trying to get my vega to boot ??? and i'm seriously considering throwing the f*****g vega out the window. it is new, running 1.08 firmware. i have installed flash, kind of. CWM (HIGGSY's exe file) and also the marketplace. i turned it off this morning and it no longer boots. i can get recovery ? i think. i can see APX in device manager but cannot, cannot, cannot, cannot update the driver. why ??? i've downloaded, unzipped, unzipped, extracted all, put the usbdriver (R6 addon pk) folder onto the desktop and so on. and my eyes are now bleeding having read every single thread/post on how to upgade rom/drivers and i'm getting more frustrated as minutes tick by. laptop is win7 32 ultimate and desktop win7 64 ultimate, sdk installed on both machines. can somebody help pls

You can also to flash just the misc partition, but this is kinda hard if your not an experienced user.

Please search for it in the forum.

If you prefer something easier, just flash an official firmware:

  1. Download an official firmware version to a PC
  2. Press and hold the power off key for over 8 seconds to make absolutely sure you have the deice switched off
  3. Plug in the USB cable (device and PC) and the power adapter
  4. Press and hold the 'back' button
  5. After 1 second: press and hold the 'power' button too (don't release the 'back' button)
  6. After another second: release the 'power' button (don't release the 'back' button)
  7. After another second: release the 'back' button
  8. Start the official firmware upgrade on the PC
For help on the drivers, you might want to read/watch the Video Guide Edited by rvdgeer
