Guest Geoff2 Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Have you tried looking in the dog's basket? Or maybe behind the fridge. Yes, try looking behind the fridge.
Guest zZ-Zombi-xVz Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 It's on silent, just the screen comes on not vibration or anything..will try turning the lights off now. LOL, why would it be behind the fridge? My last memory was my bed when I checked time the last time it was seen, but after that its just gone.

Guest Lifeforms Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) Have you tried checking any pets or pet baskets? ;) Rarely, but it's happened, they eat a phone. dogs of course. Not yet come across a cat that can manage that feat. Though I have had cats who've taken items for a walk. Try the obvious. If you last remember it in the bed. Strip the bed (carefully ;)) Look inside pillowcases, inside duvet cases, between the sheets, under the bed (an actually look, not a glance), under the mattress. Also try behind any cabinets/bedside tables you have close to it. I magically lost a PDA once, and it turned up eventually inside a pillowcase. And whilst I'd prodded the pillow a few times, I'd not found it till I actually stripped it. Edited February 2, 2011 by Lifeforms
Guest Stuart_f Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) It won't help you right now but once you find it, install Where's my droid and next time you can send it a text message to bring it out of silent and make it ring. Edit: How about walking around the house with a cheap radio with unshielded speakers and ringing the blade from a landline? Listen out for the telltale "bup bup bup buhhhhhh" GSM interference. When you hear that you must be near the mobile. Edited February 2, 2011 by Stuart_f

Also helps if it gets nicked.
Guest markusj Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 It probably ran out of battery... ;) Otherwise you could install Where's my droid through the online market (if your 3G was on), and text it.
Guest jr866gooner Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 so.........whats the outcome??!

Guest Xenon0816 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 o.O I'm feeling with you... I hope you find it! I once searched my phone, thought it was in the house and finally found it by accident in the back of the car between the seats... Sad, as I already bought a new phone ;)

Guest dragon2611 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Can you check if the remote to my XBox is down there please? (original XBox, not a 360). Thanks ;) We once managed to lose an xbox360 controller under the sofa, whats even worse is someone lifted up the sofa to check for something else and ended up putting it back down on top of the xbox controller. Somehow the controller survived with just some damage to the rubber coating on top of one of the control sticks.
Guest NoxyD Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Now at least you can push phone locator apps to your phone with http://market.android.com/ and then find it ;)

Over a year later she hands it to me, explaining she found it right down the side of the sofa... Edited February 4, 2011 by tttonyyy
