TONS of my images have disappeared!

I don't know how this happened, but after I unplugged my phone ready to put a new dock on and when I go into my gallery, there's hardly any images there. So I mount my phone on my computer again to see pretty much all of my images have disappeared, but everything else is fine. All my ROMs in my emulator folders are still there, and ALL my music, only the images, and some of them are even still there, just random ones.

Why's this? Can I get them back? Is it because I pulled the cable out of my phone before it finished 'preparing my sd card'?

I've posted a similar problem, I only lost about 15 pictures, one week of pictures ;)

Basically I could see them in the Gallery and in the camera application (the last picture taken), when I tried to send them to the computer using the cable, they were no longer there ;)

I was using the R4 from Modaco's

I didn't found a way to recover the pictures :D

Just restore the missing pictures from your most recent backup. ;)
