i had 163MB of memory on my blade, i installed a app which was only 1MB, but when i uninstalled it i only have 160MB???

can anybody tell me how i can get my memory back.

my zte blade is not rooted, no custom recovery, its just as it is when you get it from orange.

can somebody help

Usually applications don't just take the place the size of the APK, but a bit more (dalvik cache, as an example, first-run generated appdata, and such). So, it is normal ;)

so if i installed the app again, then it wouldnt take as much memory as the data for the app is alreay there from first time install, is that what you mean.

Nope. If you remove the app, the data it created will be deleted too.

And if you reinstall your app, it won't take any less space, even more to re-create the dalvik cache.

You can't. Look, it won't be missing any way, most big apps will install their huge stuff on the SD card (like big games).

I'm sure the dalvik cache in on fixed separate partition. Though it is properly as you have said just fun run junk.
