Guest Plxply Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 Hello, I currently try and maximise the battery life from my Blade by always forcing it into 2G and under clocking it whilst the screen is off. However, I'm wondering how much battery life does auto sync use? I would like for the ability for my mail, contacts and calendar to sync with my phone and I would be fine with that if it were only a 10% hit on battery life, however if it uses 50% then I would rather not use it. So can anyone who uses auto sync guess how much shorter your battery life is on average than having it turned off?

Guest Azurren Posted February 4, 2011 Report Posted February 4, 2011 (edited) Google apps actually use minimal battery Unlike almost every other 3rd party apps (Including ones that are meant to save you battery) which are very inefficient But if you want to turn your phone into a "Dumb phone" then turning it off will add a few more hours to your battery life Edited February 4, 2011 by Azurren
