Motorola Defy Vs. HTC Desire HD

As the title says really.

I will give you a little insight in to my life to help you understand and help me make a decision so here it is

I am a apprentice mechanic so the Defy obviously wins there?

I love smartphones and being able to surf the internet whilst being out and about and whilst on my dinner break, like checking my Facebook, Twitter and various sporting events.

I am aware of both devices specs and I understand that the DHD is better in terms of its processor and Android version. (But what is the real difference? Will I notice it I have never had an Android device before.

I have until the 14th Feb till I have to make my final decision and I thought I would gain a little help from the experts here at Modaco.
