Guest Richard_Arkless Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 (edited) I just saw a video of honeycomb booting on the nook colour (from technobuffalo) but the thing is he didnt actually flash the rom, it was actually booting from the sd card and when he takes out the sd card, it boots from the nand rom so that got me wondering would it be possible to get it ported to here, if so this will be awesome when we want to test out roms plus you can swap out sd cards for whatever rom you want to use heres the video http://www.youtube.com/user/jon4lakers#p/u/1/9cGuB9tw8x4 Edited February 5, 2011 by Richard_Arkless
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 it's already possible with the TPT method you can have several roms on different sd cards with a different /image in ;) not take too much time to flash the phone with this method

Guest steviem Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 This is something that sets the Nook Color apart from other Android devices, it has this ability built in. I'm not sure if it is possible on other devices though...

Strange I didnt hear that it had that feature, I just thought it was something that was released over on the xda forums or something Ive been thinking about it even more and could it go in the custom recovery part where when you hold the down button on boot instead of it bringing up clockwork, it would instead load the .img's off the sd card
Guest That-Guy Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 Just a little off topic....Is the Nook Color available in the UK? Was looking at getting one thats all. Also I think they have managed to get a ROM actually installed on the Nook device now too? Am I correct?
Guest IronDoc Posted February 5, 2011 Report Posted February 5, 2011 See here for dual boot stuff: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...dual-boot-roms/ Don't think anyone's tried it on the Blade.
