Guest BK2FUT Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 So, I'm getting a brand new HTC Desire next week, locked to the T-Mobile network, and I want to get it unlocked to use on Vodafone. The problem is, the more research I do online, the more disheartening it becomes. For every one person that says a service works (HTCCode.com, HTCSimUnlock.com, eBay sellers, etc.) there are 15 people who say it's just a scam and it never worked for them. It's hard to sort out the true tales from the sour grapes postings of people tied to other site's services. So many choices, and every one of them seems to have a ton of negative feedback. This is bumming me out... :D :P
Guest BK2FUT Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 Is a 'Subsidy Pin' the same as the unlock code offered by those websites?

Guest tatey2457 Posted February 9, 2011 Report Posted February 9, 2011 (edited) mate pay the £20 to tmobile and have done with it ?waste of time and money trying to save a few ££££££££ Why suggest to pay for a code when a free method has just been posted above. It's easy to do..burn .ISO...boot from disc...connect phone in Hboot...press any key...DONE It worked for me on my T-Mobile locked handset. Edited February 9, 2011 by tatey2457
Guest BK2FUT Posted February 11, 2011 Report Posted February 11, 2011 mate pay the £20 to tmobile and have done with it ?waste of time and money trying to save a few ££££££££ Exactly what I did, brother. Wasn't even trying to save money, just didn't know they did it at the time... £15. Down-side: It takes 10-12 days for the code to arrive by POST. POST. Welcome to 1971.
