Guest joe t Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 hi, ive done loads of searches here but cant find any answers to my problem. i have a 10 plate renault scenic with built hands free. im now using sebs r7. the sf pairs but will not operate via the cars hands free. sometimes it will work but i still have use the phone to dial, other times it does nothing. at no time will it read my contacts, this is probably much of the problem. when i first got the phone it had one of sebs earlier roms r5 i think, it work just fine at that time. i have reverted back to this but it still wont work. i found this thread which i dont really understand but could it have a bearing on my problem. bluetooth config i have flashed the car via the usb with there latest fix/software as the iphone was having issues globaly. i cant be the only person with issues like this but ive searched all over the web with no luck. can you guys try to help me out here. thanks in advance. joe..........
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted February 6, 2011 Report Posted February 6, 2011 yes you have to change 2 lines in the file audio.conf you can do this with astro manager free (you need root) just navigate to the file and long press to edit or with adb adb remount adp pull /system/etc/bluetooth/audio.conf edit the file in the pc adb push audio.conf /system/etc/bluetooth

Hi, I'm new here, but had the same problem already. What worked for me was the following; - Unpair both, the phone and the bluetooth set in your car - Download and install "Bluetooth File Transfer" from the market - pair again, this time via "Bluetooth File Transfer" (first 2buttons on) As said, it worked for me with a Parrot CK3100. This post has been edited by Limbo70: Jan 17 2011, 19:03 so i gave it a go and it seems to have done the job. it transfers the contacts and i can now dial out and receive calls all via the cars controls. i would try your solution, but if its working now i think i will leave it alone. thanks again. joe
