Did it come with a separate charger or are you using the one provided with the device?

It doesn`t have a seperate charger, you must use the same provided with the unit.

One big fault in my opinion is, that you can only use one USB port at once, so it is pretty useless to have three of them at the dock..

Really? That doesn't seem right. What did you test it with?

With two USB Sticks, and it is also mentioned in the user manual.

I have same dock and i have no problem using more than 1 usb at a time. Only prob i have is that since installing the latest r7 i have lost mouse pointer although mouse still works.

Probably just an Android related problem with the single USB thing. It's really not an OS initially envisaged on devices with multiple USB ports. Hopefully honeycomb should fix a lot of things. Ironic how google worked so hard to strip all this kind of stuff out of Linux to get it onto a phone and now they are having to put it all back in.

Ok, sorry, you are right, i only have tried it with two storage devices at the same time. This doesn't work.

However what works is a storage device and an USB Keyboard or Mouse together with the storage device.

The Vega guys have already said in another thread that the dock will be £29.99 when finally available from currys/pc world - and it should be available online soon.

it should work fine with multiple usb devices.

it just can't mount more than 2 partitions by itself (one as system_usb, and once as docking_usb)

if you know how to find and mount partitions by hand you should be able to use all 4 ports(1x internal, 3x dock) at the same time for usb storage

Same Dock is available for WSL Xvision, which is the same as the Advent Vega, but sold here in Japan. Price is 4680Yen = 41Euro =　35GBP.
