Guest fear_factory84
OK, so I pushed this 'old' DSPManager and.. it FC's, just like before. Also I already tries to flash Vaches original DSP v2 in Malez Recovery; then the phone wouldn't boot anymore. Solutions please? if you have flashed the one for lcr-f, prelinking is different so it's normal that it doesn't work... Perhaps could be good if we have an option to disable completely dsp manager, but I think that in cyanogenmod sources there is no libaudioflinger without dspmanager.. Tomorrow the Froyo kernel source code for LiquidE will be available on the Acer website. great... perhaps a lot of work to reach the actual status obtained with koudelka's, roggin, phh, thepasto kernels.. bluetooth works very well for me.. as regards dalvik cache, I have it on my ext2 partition. the phone is still so fast :P this rom is great.. a little problem with data connection after I receive or make a call. What kind of bluetooth connection have you used? Data transfer? ad2p? SCO (headset) connection does not work for us.. I tried setcpu for OC for the first time. My device is stable up to 921 MHz, setting 998 Mhz causes a reboot in a short time :D At 921 Mhz is very fast! App2sd doesn't work for me 100% of boot. 1 of 3 boots, my phone starts with the sd-ext partition mounted, the /data/app symlink correct, but the launcher doesn't see apks. In logs I see that the partition was not cleanly unmounted. It seems that boot doesn't wait fsck execution. This happens more if I use the reboot function. It seems that doesn't unmount the ext partition correctly. Thepasto, any advice? update: I tried to use another bluetooth headset. Voice recognition works, and audio is routed through bluetooth SCO. I attach the log... The difference with phone call is that DSP manager doesn't mess up with settings, as it can be seen on log when doing a call.logcatbluetooth_voicedialer.txt Edited February 8, 2011 by fear_factory84

I don't think it exists.. but if you find it, please tell us where you get it. So I've found something interesting about bluetooth. I don't think it exists.. but if you find it, please tell us where you get it. I'm using HTC_IME without any problems. I am pretty sure I use v27 for Froyo that can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416 Also: big thanks all devs for a fantastic ROM! My only issues is the problems with reboot and a2sd, mentioned earlier, and bluetooth phone calls. But I can live with that! /O
Guest Chewy11
WOW this ROM is great!!! OC at 998mhz is stable for me on the Liquid E Battery drain is OK, good considering OC ap2sd, Malez recovery style, does not work for me. Android Market reinstalled most of my missing apps on SD, froyo style? (GB style?) CM7 is awesome Thanks for the work. Source code is to be released by Acer today...Our year old Liquid(and E) get a new breath of life!!
Guest Achmet Schachbrett
open root explorer and open system folder. mount it as R/W press menu button and select new folder option call it sd longpress on new sd folder and select permissions tick on all options nandroid should work now Can I then copy the contents from sd-ext into the new folder and delete sd-ext? Or will I face issues when I reboot the phone as it checks for sd-ext?

No, you don't have to delete it!! new folder /system/sd have to be empty.. it will be used from malez recovery during nandroid bckp operations!! Guest Xtrem krnage
Just flashed this rom to replace roggin's one with the mutiple amount of patches available since the begining xD this version is faster and android version is 2.3.2 (the latest gingerbread version available ?), ui is more polished and eye candy :P All seems to work fine, I found only 3 issues for the moment : -in Cyanogen settings, under performance, the cpu setting give a force close -proximity sensor don't work even after applying the v2 patch, screen remains black during a call. Maybe I didn't throw the phone far enough xD -Quadrant is closing himself, worked before even if there was black screens in 3d tests but can live without it :D By the way, you've done a great job, this rom is great for daily use, thanks koud

Guest fear_factory84
So these are actual issues with this rom, and the devs are already working on them :P - proximity sensor patch zip has a missing mount /system (you can push services.jar manually) - on A1 (at least) there is some race condition at boot that sometimes lets to not see the apps on sd-ext. a reboot fixes the problem but you have to reinsert widgets that are stored on /data/app - bluetooth sco headset doesn't work (seems codec issue) - camcorder doesn't work, codec issue again - mp4 and 3gp are not played by system player. rockplayer in software mode works as a workaround - dspmanager works pushing old DSPManager.apk linked in previous posts. Seems a db table issue in its settings. My 2 cents to help improving this rom... Regards

Guest Luddi
Hi all, I have a problem with the keylayout files. When using other roms I always edited the /system/usr/keylayout/a1-keypad.kl file by adding flags like MEDIA_NEXT, MEDIA_PLAY_PAUSE, etc. to make the specific button do so. But now this doesn't work for me anymore. I also tried to edit the qwerty.kl, but as expected it doesn't work as well. In addition I executed getevent in the shell. This displayed: add device 1: /dev/input/event3 name: "avr" add device 2: /dev/input/event2 name: "a1-keypad" add device 3: /dev/input/event1 name: "auo-touch" could not get driver version for /dev/input/mice, Not a typewriter add device 4: /dev/input/event0 name: "acer-hs-butt" /dev/input/event2: 0001 0074 00000001 // <- these show up when pressing buttons /dev/input/event2: 0001 0074 00000000 /dev/input/event1: 0003 0032 00000000 /dev/input/event1: 0003 0030 00000000 /dev/input/event1: 0000 0002 00000000 /dev/input/event1: 0003 0032 00000000 /dev/input/event1: 0003 0030 00000000 /dev/input/event1: 0000 0002 00000000 /dev/input/event1: 0000 0000 00000000 [...] so far I think eventhandling works. Though the changes in the a1-keypad.kl do not affect the phone. I hope it is just a simple issue in settings. Thank you so far
